Wind park „Podveležje¨development opportunity HN Canton

The local community was introduced with the current activities refering to realisation of WP ¨Podveležje¨ capacity to  48 MW, strategic project for canton  Hercegovačko-neretvanski .
Experts from JP Elektroprivreda BiH in their answers to the representatives of non - government sector , resources ministries ,  academic community , sports group , have emphasized  the importance of production of  clean energy from renewable sources , without loading  of greenhouse gasses .
The construction of the Wind park ¨Podveležje¨ present an opportunity for development and chances not only for  increasing electricity production but also it is driving force for economic development of the region. 
The project is located at  plateau Podveležje , 10 km east from Mostar City. The expected electricity production at annual level is cca 130 GWh, and total  investment was estimated to162 million KM.
The project Windpower park will be financed by credit  of German Bank  KfW and by own funds of JP Elektroprivreda BiH.  For the project , Elektroprivreda BiH  has signed with HNK Government the contract on concession 30 years.
