Hydro power plant HPP ¨Vranduk¨- International public notice for prequalification and preparation works
Nermin Nikšić , Prime Minister of the Federation BiH and dr.Elvedin Grabovica, General manager of JP Elektroprivreda BiHd.d.- Sarajevo with Husejin Smajlović, Mayor of Zenica municipality visited on 26. March 2014. the locality for construction of the future hydro power plant HPP ¨Vranduk¨.

Public electricity company JP Elektroprivreda BiH - Sarajevo announced a public notice , on March 5, 2014. based on Article 23. of Federation BiH Law on expropriation.The public notice is relating to making effort for mutual agreeably transfer of ownerships rights on immovables for which have been identificated public interest , aimed for construction of hydro power plant HPP „ Vranduk“ – II phase .

JP Elektroprivreda BiH offered scholarships for the best 30 students from electrical and mechanical engineering faculties
The best students from electrical and mechanical engineering faculties who have achieved rights for scholarships from JP Elektroprivreda BiH , after it was completed public competition , have met on March 3 , 2014 with General manager of JP Elektroprivreda BiH Sarajevo dr. Elvedin Grabovica , with Mensura Zuka executive manager for legal and personnel affairs and Emir Aganović General manager's assistant for development .

JP Elektroprivreda BiH : In period 2014 – 2016 , planned investment 2 billion KM
Representatives of the shareholders at the 30th Assembly of EPBiH held on February 27, 2014 have adopted the business plan for 2014 – 2016. In the three years business period JP Elektroprivreda BiH plans to invest about 2 billion KM from the own and extern funds in capital objects , production capacity , the mines , distribution and electricity trade and supply and other common projects.

New Investment of Elektroprivreda BiH : Five dampers in value of 8,4 million KM for RMU ¨Kakanj¨
Contract on procurement of five dampers trucks type BELAZ 75135 with 110 tons capacity for needs of open pit „Vrtlište“ in the brown coal mine RMU ¨Kakanj¨ have been signed by Mirsad Jašarspahić Director of brown coal mine ¨Kakanj¨ and Boro Katanić Director of PREMAR Services AG from Switzerland in presence of dr.Elvedin Grabovica General manager of EP BiH and Senad Sarajlić Executive manager for production.

Expropriation of the priperties for HPP „Vranduk“ construction – the first phase completed
JP Elektroprivreda BiH-Sarajevo has finalized the first phase of expropriation of immovable properties for construction of Hydro power plant HPP „ Vranduk“ – locality municipality Zenica . After it has been agreed good relations with former land owners , the immovable properties (4) were taken over by Elektroprivreda BiH on location for HPP construction as : living objects , agricultural and forestry land.

JP Elektroprivreda BiH: Record in electricity generation since 1990
JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo has achieved record on 25th December , 2013. in electricity generation since 1990 . Generation of electricity refers to the same generation capacities as well as from in 1990 year . Total electricity generation was 7.310 GWh and expectations are that it will eventually be realized in the amount of approximation 7.450 GWh. until end of the year .

KfW approved 65 million euros loan to Elektroprivreda BiH for financing construction of the wind farm „Podveležje“
The German Development Bank (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau - KfW) has approved to JP Elektroprivreda BiH - Sarajevo a loan to finance the construction of the wind farm „Podveležje“ in amount of 65 million euros within framework of the cooperation between Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The repayment period is 15 years , including 3 years od grace period
