At the Summit 16 + 1 in Riga (Latvia) representatives of Elektroprivreda BiH and Chines EXIM Bank have signed framework conditions of agreement for lending construction of Unit 7 at Thermal Power Plant Tuzla.

Record production of electricity in October 2016
In October 2016 , JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d.-Sarajevo produced total electricity of 805.738 MWh or 151,76% in relation to the planned production.

Signed Contract on electricity supply to Aluminij d.d. Mostar
On 11 October, 2016 in the main office of JP Elektroprivreda BiH in Sarajevo was signed Contract on purchase and delivery of electricity for 2017 with representatives Aluminij d.d. Mostar.

Open construction site HPP "Vranduk"
By ceremony of opening construction site for HPP „Vranduk“ , held on September 8, 2016 has officially started construction of the first hydro plant in system of Elektroprivreda BiH in the post - war period.

Energy Summit 2016
The Second Energy Summit BiH , held on 21 - 22 April, 2016 in Neum, organized within the USAID project Investing in Energy Sector (EIA) and Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations BiH, State Regulatory Commission for Electricity / DERK/, Regulatory Commission for Energy in Federation /FERK/ and Regulatory Commission for Energy of Republika Srpska /RERS/.

Revision of Feasibility Study for constructin of the heating system TPP “Kakanj”- Sarajevo
JP Elektroprivreda BiH Sarajevo has started revision of the feasibilty study for supplying of heating energy from Thermal Power Plant (TPP) Kakanj for area to/and Sarajevo. The study was made by the Consortium of experts from Mechanical engineering Faculty Sarajevo, „Bosna S“ and „Enova“.
