EPBiH - Partner of the new EU Horizon 2020 project - Upgrade DH
JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d.- Sarajevo throughout its Strategic Development Department, participates in the new EU Horizon 2020 project Upgrade DH, which has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. The Project has officially started on 1st of May 2018 and is co-ordinated by the German company WIP Renewable Energies. Along with JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d.- Sarajevo, other Project's partners are: SIG SOLITES (Germany), AGFW - German Association of District Heating Companies, COWI (Denmark), OPTIT (Italy), HERA (Italy), EuroHeat (Belgium ), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - University of Zagreb (Croatia), LDHA - Association of District Heating Companies in Lithuania and the thermal power company STINKLAI (Lithuania).

Thermal Power Plant „Tuzla“: 250 million KM for ecologic projects in period 1996-2017
Electricity in amount of 3.472.267 MWh was generated at Thermopower plant TPP "Tuzla¨ in 2017,and 115.665 MWh heating energy and technologic steam by spending 3,8 million tonnes of coal. Total investing of this power plant in the past year was 8,6 million KM without capital envestment so that 2,1 million KM was for ecologic project what presents 24 % of the total investment in the past year.

At the Summit Initiative 16+1 in Budapest , on November 27th, 2017 , was signed a Loan agreement for financing the project of construction Unit 7- 450 MW at thermal power plant „Tuzla“

Mirsad Jašarspahić, President of the Federation BiH Economic Chamber and Alena Ahmetspahić-Fočo, director of project Business magazine handed over awards to Bajazit Jašarević General manager of JP Elektroprivreda BiH for the achieved successful results in 2016, achieved revenue of EPBiH investments cash flow and Company's leading position on the market in field of electricity generation

Federation BiH Government – compliance for selection of project partner for Unit 7 construction
FBiH Government has accepted final information for selection the project partner for construction of Unit 7 - 450 MW at thermal power plant „Tuzla“; JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d.-Sarajevo gave consent for selection of China Gezhouba Group Company Ltd - CGGC ( leader of Consortium )and China Energy Engineering Group, Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd - GEDI ( member of the Cosortium ) for partner for project construction
