JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo has achieved record on 25th December , 2013. in electricity generation since 1990 . Generation of electricity refers to the same generation capacities as well as from in 1990 year . Total electricity generation was 7.310 GWh and expectations are that it will eventually be realized in the amount of approximation 7.450 GWh. until end of the year .

On the occasion of the Miners' Day , dr.Elvedin Grabovica , General manager of Elektroprivreda BiH Sarajevo and members of Mangement board visited on December 23 - 25 , 2013 the coal mines within Elektroprivreda BiH Concern.

The German Development Bank (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau - KfW) has approved to JP Elektroprivreda BiH - Sarajevo a loan to finance the construction of the wind farm „Podveležje“ in amount of 65 million euros within framework of the cooperation between Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The repayment period is 15 years , including 3 years od grace period

JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo has lodged six applications related to protection on ownership rights in the territory of Croatia , to European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg , on November 29, 2013 . The applications are considered to the properties (buildings and land) which JP Elektroprivreda BiH has in possession in places in Croatia Sutivan , Gradac , Makarska , Biograd na Moru , Lukoran and Baške Vode .

At the International economic forum „ Corporative management in BiH - How and where next „ ( Dubrovnik ; 5-6.December 2013)), dr.Elvedin Grabovica, General manager of JP Elektroprivreda BiH, discussed on topic ¨Impacts of construction of new energo facilities to the development of local community „ Dr Grabovica has presented concept of development of energo facilities of JP Elektroprivreda BiH and some analyses of accompanying effects during period of construction and usage of generation capacities.

At the JP Elektroprivreda BiH (JP EPBiH) on 2.December 2013 was signed contract on purchase two machines type AM-50z-w for building caves in the brown coal mines ¨Kakanj¨ and ¨Breza¨, total worth 2,5 million KM. The procurement of machinery was funded by JP Elektroprivreda BiH within process of recapitalization of the mines that are in concern of EP BiH.

Dr. Elvedin Grabovica, General manager of JP Elektroprivreda BiH and Nikola Krešić, General manager of JP Elektroprivreda HZHB, signed in Mostar , on November 13 , 2013 , Contract on purchase of electricity for 2014. in worth of 21,2 million KM.

Dr. Elvedin Grabovica, General manager of JP Elektroprivreda BiH and Libor Krkoska , Director of the EBRD Office in BiH , signed Loan Agreement for realisation of the project for construction HPP „Vranduk“ and the capacity expansion of HPP „ Una Kostela „ in value of € 35 million . The loan was signed on October 30th in the presence of Nermin Nikšič , Prime Minister of Federation BiH .

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has granted to public company JP Elektroprivreda BiH a loan worth 35 million euro for implementation of construction of projects of hydro plant HPP “Vranduk” and rehabilitation and expansion of the capacity of HPP “ Una Kostela “ (Una-Sana canton) under favorable credit terms.

TPP „Kakanj“ generated in August 2013. electricity generation of 268.095 MWh , so reaching the greates one-month record generation in the last 17 years . It is expected that TPP „Kakanj“ will exceed the last year electricity generation of 2.487 GWh. untill the end of 2013 .
